Terms
Terms of service
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms cover the Orbit apps and the services sold on this site by BLS Tech LLC ("we"). They are written to be read. If something is unclear, ask us.
What you are getting
- The apps. The Mac app, iPhone app and Linux connector are free to download and use. The iPhone app sells nothing. Open-source parts are licensed under their own licenses in the source repository.
- Hosted Relay. A subscription ($3.99 a month or $20 a year) to use our relay to move end-to-end encrypted messages between your devices, with iPhone push included.
- Self-Hosted license. A one-time purchase ($50) that lets you run the relay yourself, forever, on the Mac app's built-in relay or your own server. It includes updates released within one year of purchase. An optional renewal ($25) adds another year of updates. Without renewal you keep the version you have.
- Push Gateway. A yearly add-on ($5) that forwards sealed push notifications from a self-hosted relay to the iPhone app.
Payments, tax and refunds
Prices are in US dollars before tax. Checkout, tax and invoices are handled by Polar, our merchant of record, so your purchase contract for payment is with Polar on our behalf. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. If you are not happy, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a refund: support@agentorbit.app.
License keys
A key is for you (one person, or one team if bought for a team) and your devices. Do not publish it or resell it. A self-hosted key is checked offline by the relay; a hosted or push key is checked by our servers against Polar. We may revoke keys obtained fraudulently or shared publicly.
Fair use of the hosted services
The hosted relay and push gateway have sensible limits on devices, message rate, payload size and pushes per day so that one account cannot degrade the service for others. Do not use them to send spam, to relay traffic that is not Orbit's, or to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content
Everything your agents and devices exchange through Orbit is end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read it, we do not store it, and we claim no rights to it. You are responsible for what your agents do on your machines.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the hosted services up, but they are provided as they are, without a guaranteed uptime. We may change features, prices for future purchases, or these terms; we will post changes here and, for material changes to a paid service, tell subscribers by email. Running your own relay is always available as an alternative.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, the apps and services are provided "as is", without warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for actions your coding agents take.
Ending things
You can stop using Orbit at any time and cancel subscriptions from your Polar receipt. We may end your access to hosted services for breaking these terms. A self-hosted license cannot be taken away for non-payment because there is nothing more to pay.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where BLS Tech LLC is registered.
